Are there course time limits?
Yes and No. At approx. 8:15am, the city will re open streets. Walkers and runner still on the course will be required to run along the sidewalk.
Where does the Post party take place?
The Post Party will be in the Village of Pacific Highlands Ranch, right at the start line, in front of Crunch Fitness. The party includes the Award ceremony a Silent Auction, Food, Live Music, Entertainment, Expo Booths, Jumpies and more.
Where does the 1K Fun Run take place?
The Fun Run will start at the same location of the 5K and run east on Carmel Valley Rd then back.
Do I need to register to run with my child?
Any runner or walker on the course must be registered with a race bib on. This is for liability purposes, we believe in safety first!
How do I get my bib number and timing tag?
Your bib number with your timing tag attached and T-shirt will all be available for pickup at the "Packet Pick Up" on Friday before the race between 11:30-5:00pm and Saturday between 11-1pm. You must provide a photo ID to pick up your bib number. You will use your bib number to pick up your race T-shirt and goody bag.
How do I get my shirt?
Shirts must be picked up at the Packet Pick Up. Shirts will not be mailed. You will first pick up your bib number and timing tag and will then use your bib number to pick up your shirt. While we will do all we can to ensure you receive the shirt size you request, unfortunately we cannot make any guarantees. The 5K shirts are an "Athletic Cut" meaning they are fitted. Please size up for a loser fit. If we have left over shirts you may swap sizes on race morning.
Can I have someone pick up my bib number and timing tag for me?
Yes; however, they must come with a copy of your picture ID
What if it rains?
Have you ever gone for a run in the rain? Its fun!! This is a rain or shine event! Just think, no one will know you're sweating :)
What is the refund policy?
All entry fees are NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE
What are the race distances?
5K - 3.106 miles
1K Fun Run - .62 mile
What amenities are offered on the course?
There will be 2 water support stations located on the course and medical personal all along the route.
What is the policy for the use of headphones during the race?
For your safety and the safety of your fellow participants, you are encouraged NOT to use iPods, MP3 players, or similar devices during the race. However, if you choose to use such a device, it is recommended that you keep the volume at a level at which you are aware of your environment, can hear course directions and any emergency situations which may arise.
Will medals be presented to all finishers?
Yes, finisher medals are presented to finishers upon completion of the race in the finish line/secure zone.
When will the results be posted?
Results will be available race day to the right of the main stage. Results will also be available online.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes!! Stroller will be allowed on the course, we ask that you line up towards the back of the start line and please be safe along the course.
Are dogs allowed?
Though we love animals, dogs or pets of any kind, are not allowed at the race or the expo.
